A large Victorian coromandel jewellery box, the wonderful veneers edged in brass with further brass lines. To the top there is a central engraved brass cartouche.

The box has been re-lined in a red cotton moire and a luxurious red silk velvet, the inside of the lid further enhanced with gold thread embroidery. To the rear of the box a button releases the spring-loaded front drawer and to the left another releases the side drawer. All interior metalwork decoratively engraved.

The box has been cleaned and professionally French polished and is in showroom condition.

The original lock has been cleaned and refurbished by Bramah and a new key cut.
