A good quality Victorian figured walnut jewellery box, the top with central vacant mother of pearl shield shaped cartouche, the front with matching keyhole escutcheon.

The box opens to reveal the original mahogany interior, re-lined in a plush pink velvet. The lift-out tray reveals further storage beneath. To the right a brass pin releases the spring loaded side drawer which has also been re-lined.

The box has been cleaned and professionally French polished and is in showroom condition.
