Stunning Victorian burr wood & tortoiseshell box.

A superb quality Victorian burr wood jewellery  / table or large snuff box, the interior lined in tortoiseshell, the exterior edges also banded in tortoiseshell. The top inset with a wedgewood style jasperware plaque.

In excellent general condition, lining is perfect but there are numerous tiny nibbles to the edges comensurate with age. There are also a couple of fine hairlines to the plaque.
