A good quality Victorian rosewood jewellery box, the top with engraved central brass escutcheon, the front with matching keyhole escutcheon.

The box opens to reveal the original Moroccan leather interior, re-lined in a purple cotton moire fabric and complimentary purple silk velvet. The lift-out tray reveals further storage areas beneath.

To the rear of the box a brass button releases the front drawer, similarly re-lined.
