A good quality large Victorian figured walnut jewellery box, the edges with 'barber pole' marquetry banding, the top with central mother of pearl cartouche surrounded by further marquetry, the front with matching keyhole escutcheon. The top and front have further marquetry line inlays.

The box has been re-lined in a plush stone grey velvet.
