Victorian burr walnut & brass inlaid jewellery box.

A good Victorian burr walnut jewellery box, the top and front inlaid with fine brass stringing, the top with a shield shaped engraved escutcheon above a sililarly decorated swag, the front with matching keyhole escutcheon.

The box opens to reveal a re-lined interior, the black cotton moire complimenting the plush stone grey velvet, The lift-out tray reveals a further storage area beneath.
