Superb Victorian & brass inlaid jewellery box.

A stunning Victorian coromandel dome-topped jewellery box, the well chosen veneers edged in brass with further brass line inlays. The top has a central engraved brass cartouche.

The box opens to reveal the original mahogany interior, re-lined in a purple cotton moire fabric with a complimentary luxurious purple silk velvet.

To the rear of the box a brass button releases the front drawer and to the left a further button releases the right drawer, both re-lined.
