A superb early Victorian jewellery or table box, veneered in rich deep reddish brown figured mahogany, the edges banded in brass, the top and front with further brass stringing. The top has a vacant decorative brass cartouche.

The box has been re-lined in a green cottom moire fabric anf bottle green matching velvet.

It has been cleaned and French polished and is in excellent condition.

Fitted with a Bramah lock but sadly no key.
