A good Victorian dome-topped walnut jewellery box, the top and front inlaid with geometric parquetry lines, the top with a central vacant cartouche and the front with matching keyhole escutcheon.

The box opens to reveal the original mahogany interior re-lined in a luxurious shiraz red silk velvet. The lift-out tray reveals further storage beneath and a brass pin to the right releases the side drawer, also re-lined in silk velvet.

the box has been professionally cleaned and French polished and is in excellent condition. 

With working lock & tassled key.
