Victorian walnut & inlaid jewellery box.

A good Victorian figured walnut jewellery box, the edges with ebony banding, the top with diamond shaped mother or pearl and abalone shell escutcheon, the front with matching keyhole escutcheon. Slight nibble to the escutcheon beside the keyhole.

The box has been re-lined in a plush blue velvet, the lift-out tray fitted various compartments revealing a further storage area beneath.

With fully working lock & tassled key.
