A large Victorian dome topped figured walnut jewellery box, the top with a vacant brass shield shaped cartouche with swag beneath, the front with matching keyhole escutcheon.

The box opens to reveal a fully fitted interior re-lined in a plush velvet in a rich blue. The lift-out tray fitted various compartments reveals a further storage area beneath. To the rear of the box a brass button releases the front drawer similarly re-lined in velvet.

With fully working lock & tassled key.
