A fine Victorian  figured walnut jewellery box, the edges crossbanded in geometric marquetry line inlays. The top of the box has a finely painted inset papier mache panel depicting the 'monarch of the glen'. The front of the box has a diamond shaped keyhole escutcheon surrounded by further inlay.

The obx opens to reveal a fully fitted interior, the lift-out tray fitted various compartments revealing a further storage area beneath. The box has been re-lined in a plush deep red velvet.

With fully working lock & decorative key.
