Victorian walnut & inlaid dome top jewellery box.

A fine Victorian walnut dome topped jewellery box, the well figured walnut surrounded by ebony banding seperated by a brass line, the edges of the box cross-banded in tulipwood. The lid has an inset engraved brass decorative handle and the front has a brass keyhole escutcheon.

The box opens to reveal a fully fitted interior, the lift-out tray fitted various compartments reveals a further storage area beneath. The box has been re-lined in a plush deep red velvet.

With fully working lock & tassled key.
