A fine quality antique burr walnut jewellery box, the top inlaid with brass stringing and a central decorative brass cartouche, the front with matching keyhole escutcheon. The whole box banded in ebony.

The box opens to reveal a fully fitted interior lined in a plush burgundy red velvet, the lift-out tray fitted various compartments revealing a further storage area beneath. To the rear of the box a brass button releases the front drawer, similarly lined in velvet.

With fully working lock and decorative key.
