A fine large Victorian walnut jewellery box, the amboyna and ebony top extensively inlaid with brass, white metal, mother of pearl, ivory  and floral marquetry and with a vacant shield shaped brass cartouche. 

The box opens to reveal a fully fitted interior lined with a vibrant plush red velvet, the lift-out tray fitted various compartments revealing a further storage area beneath.

With fully working lock and decorative key.
