A fine quality burr walnut writing slope, with brass banding and line inlay, the top with engraved shield shaped cartouche, the key escutcheon with corresponding inlay.

The box opens to reveal a mahogany and coromandel veneered fitted interior, the slope with new antique olive green skiver, lifting to reveal storage areas beneath, the lockable top section with three hidden secret drawers veneered in coromandel, revealed by lifting the far right inkwell divider (as seen from the photo) to release the spring loaded cover.

In superb condition after recently being professionally cleaned and French polished.

With fully working locks and keys.
