Antique Coromandel jewellery box.

A good and large Victorian coromandel and brass banded jewellery box by Leuchars and retailed by Junior Army & Navy Store of Regent Street, London. The box with retailers plaque to the rear of the interior and the lock stamped Leuchars patent.

The box opens to reveal a black Moroccan leather and purple silk velvet lined interior, the lift out tray fitted various compartments and revealing a large storage area beneath. There are five further storage compartments to the rear.

The bottom drawer is similarly lined in leather and velvet.

With fully working lock and tassled key, the drawer with it's own seperate key.
