Antique walnut & inlaid jewellery box.

A good Victorian walnut jewellery box with Tunbridge ware type inlays comprising various wood veneers, mother of pearl and abalone shell.

The box opens to reveal a rich red velvet lined interior, the lift out tray revealing a further storage aree beneath. To the rear of the box are two rows of ring holders.

A brass pin to the right of the box locks the spring-loaded side drawer in place.

Please note all of the velvet is the same colour - the lighter appearance of the lid is due to light reflection, the actual colour is darker.
