A good quality burr walnut jewellery box, the top inlaid with mother of pearl and abalone shell with matching inlay to the escutcheon. The ebony edges with a thin satinwood cross-banding.

The box opens to reveal dark purple velvet lined interior (the photos appear more blue - this is a dark cadbury type purple). The lift-out tray reveals a further storage area beneath.

With fully working lock and key.
