Antique rosewood jewellery box by Lamb & Wells, Cockspur Street, London  profusely inlaid with brass decoration with brass banded edges and vacant central cartouche. The sides with flush fitting campaign style carry handles.

The interior is lined with red silk velvet and red Moroccan leather. The lift out tray can be removed to reveal a large storage area beneath. Additional secret drawer to the side. The lid lining drops to reveal stationary pouch and removable mirror with original plate.

With fully working patent Bramah lock and tassled key.
