Antique coromandel jewellery box  with brass banding, line inlay and vacant shield cartouche by Wilson & Co., Edinburgh.

The interior is lined with dark red silk velvet and maroon Moroccan leather. The lift out tray with brass handles can be removed to reveal a large storage area beneath. The bottom drawer is also lined in silk velvet. The inside lid is removed with a hidden button to reveal a mirror and stationery wallet bearing the makers label.

With fully working locks and tassled key.
